| CBQ 4000 and a caboose sit in Copeland Park next to the former Grand Junction Tower. 4000 has had an interesting life, built by Baldwin in 1930, it was streamlined in 1937 and named "Aeolus". It later lost that streamlining 1942, returning to its 1930s look, in 1956 it pulled two Excursions before being donated to the City of La Crosse, Today it sits without any numbers on it at all and bored up, although, based that scaffolding, at least some work might be getting done on her. |
