Description:  We were headed to breakfast one morning last week, and got up into town to find this empty northbound train rolling through, with a whopping six units. We got around it, beating it to Gentry. MOW was working on the main, so he was routed through the siding, which helped our chase.

Description:  I was headed home from a doctors appointment this momrning, and saw the coal train slowly working into the siding as I approached the crossing on Kenwood St. Catching the head end was not going to work, and I thought the meet would be imminent. I was right, and had taken up a position at Lake Frances Rd. The southbound 100 car grain train is passing the DPU on the empty TXUX coal train as it approaches CP South Siloam Springs.

Description:  The DPU on the rear of the grain train is a pair of KCSM GEs, going into dynamic braking to hold back the 100 loaded cars as they roll downhill to Watts. The coal train has cleared town, as we can see by the truck now on the Kenwood St crossing in the distance. Quiet returns to Siloam.
