Great action shot by an unknown photographer of Frisco 4-8-2 mountain type steam loco #1510 heading up a long passneger train - a perfect fit in terms of power. Built by Baldwin in 1923, the loco was rebuilt at a later date, It was finally retired after 29 years of service and sold for scrap in February of 1952. Rebuilt specs - serial #56274, T-54 class, 69 1/2" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 28x28" cylinders, engine weight of 342,200 lb, tractive effort of 56,800 lb.
